LIMA — Kalida’s volleyball team won the Division IV district volleyball championship on Saturday by knocking off Cory-Rawson 25-17, 25-17, 23-25, 25-17. Kalida improved to 17-6 while Cory-Rawson’s season ends at 17-8.
Kalida will play in the regional semifinal round at 6 p.m. Thursday at Elida.
Columbus Grove 3, Van Buren 1
KALIDA — Mackenzie Vorst smacked 19 kills and had 2 blocks as Columbus Grove collected a Division IV district crown with a 25-16, 22-25, 25-23, 25-10 victory over Van Buren.
The Bulldogs will advance to the regional tournament to take on Antwerp on Thursday at Elida in the second match that day.
Jena Diller’s 29 digs helped Grove while Paige Gerdeman added 47 assists. Kelsey McCluer had 2 aces and Casey Osterhage had 2 blocks for Grove.
Marion Local 3, St. Henry 1
COLDWATER — Alyssa Winner had 16 kills, 4 aces and 20 digs as Marion Local remained undefeated (25-0) with the district title victory. Marion Local will play at 6 p.m. Thursday at Vandalia Butler in the regional semifinals. St. Henry falls to 20-5.
Shelby Moeller had 17 assists for the Flyers, Stacey Huber had 20 assists, Alyse Bergman had 27 digs and 2 aces, Leah Rosenbeck added 10 kills and Ashley Lochtefeld had 9 kills and 4 blocks.
Division III
Archbold 3, Parkway 1
NAPOLEON — Archbold took down Parkway 22-25, 25-12, 25-19, 25-15 to advance to Wednesday’s regional semifinals at Liberty-Benton.

Division II District Final
Bluffton 1, Ottawa Hills 0
BOWLING GREEN — Bluffton beat Ottawa Hills by 3-1 on an overtime shootout to win the district crown and advance to next week’s regionals.
The Pirates (10-6-2) will take on Ottawa-Glandorf at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Findlay. Jaden August, Lucas Hornish and Renato Siqueiredo each made goals in the shootout for Bluffton.
Keeper Fred Freeman grabbed 16 saves for Bluffton.

Division II District Final
St. Marys 3, Fort Jennings 1
ELIDA — Kaysha Dietz, Katie Burke and Kendra Vehorn each scored a goal as the Roughriders hoisted the district title. St. Marys (15-3-1) will take on Akron St. Vincent-St. Marys at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lexingon.
Taylor Wallenhorst scored for Fort Jennings (12-5-1). St. Marys outshot Fort Jennings 16-4. Paige Dicus had 3 saves for the Roughriders while Megan Schimmoeller had 13 saves for Fort Jennings.
