First Federal Bank opens Glandorf office
Comments 0 | Recommend 0GLANDORF — “I’m looking forward to growing with this community,” Mike Schumaker, branch manager of new First Federal Bank in Glandorf said Monday.Speaking during the official ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new Glandorf office, Schumaker echoed the feelings of other officials present at the meeting, including Greg Allen, Southern market President of First Federal Bank, Doug Blackwell, First Federal retail administrator, and William J. Small, president and chief executive officer of First Federal Bank.Schumaker thanked those who had been involved in the construction of the facility.Located at 135 S. Main Street, the new office brings the total number of First Federal Bank branches in northwest Ohio and northeast Indiana to 28. Schumaker serves as the branch manager of both the 768-square-foot Glandorf office as well as the Ottawa office.Members of the Ottawa-Area Chamber of Commerce attended the ceremony.“We want to welcome you to the area,” said Mary Jo Bockrath, executive director of the Ottawa-area Chamber. “It’s always nice to see another business come to a community.”Allen said the Glandorf branch will continue with the “customer first” style of community banking offered by First Federal.In addition to introducing Schumaker as the branch manager, Small introduced Jason LaBounty as the personal loan officer, Heather Giesige as the lead customer-service representative, and Jackie Schroeder as senior customer-service officer at the Glandorf office.The grand opening celebration at First Federal Bank in Glandorf will continue until Friday.
