ADA — Heath Jackson seems to be settling nicely into his new role as quarterback for Ada. The senior rushed for 155 yards and four touchdowns Friday night as the Bulldogs toasted rival Allen East 55-20 in a Northwest Conference football game.
Jackson scored on runs of 3, 11, 22 and 60 yards. He added three scores through the air, covering 16, 24, and 37 yards.
Teammate Konnor Baker had nine rushes for 114 yards as Ada (8-0, 6-0 NWC) rolled through 240 rushing yards. The Bulldogs totaled 531 yards.
Andrew Rettig had two TDs for Allen East (3-5, 3-4 NWC), one on a 37-yard rush and the other on a 13-yard pass from Aaron Swaney.
Sidney Lehman 35, Delphos Jefferson 7
SIDNEY — Delphos Jefferson (5-3) mustered negative 3 rushing yards and 93 total yards in its loss. Quarterback Jordan Jettinghoff completed 9-of-30 passes for 96 yards, three interceptions and a 12-yard TD pass.
Lehman chalked up 350 rushing yards.
Columbus Grove 22, Paulding 6
PAULDING — Jordan Travis passed for 77 yards and two touchdowns to lead Columbus Grove to victory. He hit Luke Kohls with an 8-yard pass in the third quarter and Jacob Miller with a 47-yarder in the fourth.
Rayce Risser had 72 rushing yards for Grove (5-3, 4-2 NWC).
Paulding (2-6, 1-5 NWC) had 166 total yards.
Elida 28, Celina 3
CELINA — Reggie McAdams had 55 rushing yards and 171 passing yards to lead Elida to the win. McAdams threw three scoring passes — 69 yards to Austin Etzler, 25 yards to Michael Knotts and 8 yards to Derek Cunningham.
Colin Blymyer had 44 rushing yards and a 4-yard TD with 38 seconds to play.
Elida (3-5, 2-5 WBL) had 300 total yards.
St. Henry 49, Fort Recovery 16
ST. HENRY — St. Henry (6-2, 4-2) outrushed Fort Recovery (3-5, 2-4) 330 to 58 in the MAC contest. St. Henry’s Zach Fishbaugh carried the ball 11 times for 133 yards and a touchdown, and Steven Luttmer had 14 carries for 66 yards and a score.
Fort Recovery’s Greg Kahlig went 17-for-25 for 239 yards and two touchdowns.
Waynesfield-Goshen 61, Marion Catholic 26
MARION — Waynesfield-Goshen (7-1, 5-0) rushed for 404 yards and held Marion Catholic (1-7, 1-4) to negative 10 rushing yards in the NWCC bout.
Waynesfield’s Ryan Spencer rushed seven times for 156 yards and a touchdown, Nathan Turner rushed four times for 87 yards and a touchdown, and Keaton Fetter ran the ball five times for 56 yards and two touchdowns.
Perry 46, St. Wendelin 3
FOSTORIA — Perry (4-4, 3-2) outrushed St. Wendelin (0-8, 0-5) 311 yards to 30 in the NWCC game. Perry’s Kendall Franklin had eight carries for 98 yards and two scores, one from 6 and the other from 12 yards out.
Ryan Knuckles also scored on a 70-yard kickoff return for Perry.
Leipsic 49, Arcadia 7
ARCADIA — Leipsic (7-1, 7-0) outgained Arcadia (2-6, 1-6) 507 to 80 in total yards and 21 to 4 in first downs in the BVC matchup.
Leipsic’s Sonny Hernandez carried the ball seven times for 97 yards and two scores, and Brady Schnipke had 11 rushes for 84 yards and a touchdown.
Liam Nadler went 12-for-20 for 159 yards and three passing touchdowns for the Vikings. Derek Mangas was Nadler’s favorite target, hauling in five passes for 75 yards and two touchdowns.
The only touchdown Leipsic allowed on the night came on an 85-yard punt return by Jake Metzger in the third quarter.
LCC 48, Bluffton 13
BLUFFTON — LCC’s (7-1, 6-0) Michael Rogers led the Thunderbirds to victory over Bluffton (3-5, 2-4) in the NWC battle with his three rushing touchdowns. Rogers gained 56 yards on eight carries.
Xavier Allen had seven carries for 68 yards and a touchdown for LCC also.
Tyler Rayl led the Pirates with 12 rushing attempts for 88 yards and a touchdown.
LCC’s Tyler O’Connor passed for 158 yards and a touchdown on a 12-of-19 effort. Desmond Kirkman had three catches for 35 yards and a receiving touchdown. Kirkman also contributed on special teams with an 82-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to open the second half.
Pandora-Gilboa 34, Van Buren 6
VAN BUREN — Pandora-Gilboa (5-3, 4-3) gained 345 yards of total offense while Van Buren (1-7, 1-6) was only able to muster 94 in the BVC game.
Pandora-Gilboa’s Nate Lee led the Rockets’ rushing attack, gaining 165 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. The Rockets had 239 yards on the ground as a team.
Quarterback Josh Breece contributed on Pandora-Gilboa’s other three touchdowns, picking up two through the air on passes from 4 and 7 yards out to Seth Swary and Kyle Hall, and picking up the other on a 31-yard scramble.
Ottawa-Glandorf 43, Bath 6
OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf (6-2, 5-2) scored 43 unanswered points through the first three quarters en route to victory over Bath (2-6, 1-6) in WBL action. Logan Kaufman started things off on the opening drive for the Titans by scoring on a 2-yard touchdown run. Kaufman went on to rush the ball seven times for 43 yards and three touchdowns.
Brandon Kuhlman added 14 carries for 58 yards and a touchdown for O-G.
Nathan Kahle went 10-for-18 for 159 yards for the Titans, including a 32-yard touchdown through the air to Ryan Kuhlman.
Crestview 27, Spencerville 21
SPENCERVILLE — Stephen Semer threw for 88 yards and a touchdown, and added a game-high 112 yards on the ground, with two more TDs, to lead Crestview. The Knights outgained Spencerville 183-9 on the ground.
Bearcats quarterback Derek Goecke completed 10-of-13 passes for 149 yards and a pair of TDs. He also scored on a 1-yard rush.
