Brookhill thanks those who helped celebrate accompolishments

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

To the Putnam County Community,

The Putnam County Board of Developmental Disabilities (Brookhill Center) expresses a heartfelt thank you to all who participated and assisted in the Open House on September 25th. The outpouring of support will be a memory that consumers and staff will forever have. It was conveyed well when a consumer stated “ We are celebrating our accomplishments, it took a long time to happen”. Thank you to all who took the time to come and meet us, see our program and learn about our services. We are grateful to live in a community that celebrates our capabilities and appreciates our contributions. Thank you to McDonalds for donating the beverages. A special thank you to Life Flight for allowing us to all look skyward and know we have limitless opportunities.

 Thanks again,

Consumers and Staff of Brookhill Center

Reader Comments
From the editor: Many of you have expressed concerns about some of the harsh anonymous comments from readers. To remedy that, we are introducing new features. You can create your own blog, publish your news and share your photos with the community. Once you fill out a simple form and leave a verifiable e-mail address, you can set up your profile page. It will display all of your contributions and allow you to track issues and easily connect with others.

We want our site to be a place where people discuss and debate ideas that foster stronger communities. We built this for you. Please take care of it. Tolerate broad thinking, but take action against obscene or hateful material. Make it a credible and safe place worth preserving and sharing.
