Letter to the Editor,

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers involved in helping make the February 24 Ottawa Community Blood Drive successful. We would also like to thank the Ottawa VFW for hosting the drive, and O-G Kids Mothers' Club for donating cookies. We were able to collect 97 productive units of blood.

 We would like to recognize the following gallon blood donors: Larry Nienberg, 1 gallon; John Leindecker, Rick Pothast and Traci Schierloh, 2 gallons; Sharon Ellerbrock and Lita Siefker, 3 gallons; Theresa Rosengarten, 7 gallons; and Mike Ebbeskotte, 9 gallons. Their continued dedication and the efforts of all blood donors are a great help to those in need of blood products.
