I've started making my shopping list to spend my weekly stimulus check. It shouldn't be hard to spend that additional $13 a week, but I figure I better begin planning now.
I figure the first couple bucks will have to go toward gas to drive to town to spend the money. So I only have $11 left.
Well maybe a dollar should go towards a few pieces of chocolate. I will need some extra energy to do the remainder of the shopping.
I always like to give my grandchildren toys, so maybe I should eat a children's meal at a fast food restaurant and save the toy.
I think I've spent around $6 now, so that only leaves $7 to spend.
I know it may mean I can buy a few extra cups of coffee. I can get some change for the coffee machine.
Wow, only $5 left. How should I spend it? I know I have to spend it, the government said it is important to STIMULATE the economy.
Maybe a quick trip to the grocery for a few bags of chips or a sub-sandwich. Decisions, decisions.
I feel like the 12 days of Christmas.
On the first day of my stimulus check my spending brought to me:
One gallon of gas. And so forth, you get the idea.
A $5 sub-sandwich, four $.50 pieces for coffee, three chicken nuggets, two pieces of chocolate and one gallon of gas.
Oh no. I realize I've spent all of this week's stimulus check and it's gone. Nothing to show for it. I've used the gas and ate the rest
Oh well, there's next week's stimulus check. I can start all over again.
