Levy crucial to Vantage future
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Re: Vantage Career Center
I recently took the tour of Vantage Career Center. I was absolutely blown away to see what they have to do in what little space they have. State regulations have forced them to hold a lot of academic classes that they were not originally built to accomodate. Because of this, they now hold classrooms for shops in the storage lofts. The lofts are not handicap accessible, and one literally has to duck underneath heating ducts in some cases to even get to the make shift classrooms. They are so crowded it is unbelieveable. I hope everyone in Van Wert, Mercer, Putnam, and Paulding Counties understand how crucial it is to add space on to the existing building. Vantage is far too important to this entire region as a training outlet for regional business to let this go. A yes vote will also yield over $16 million dollars fom the State toward the addition of needed space. Yes votes are very crucial in Mercer, Putnam, and Paulding counties in particular. I hope voters all see the obvious benefits Vantage gives to our region.
