Grove voters turn down building request
Comments 0 | Recommend 0COLUMBUS GROVE — 11:48 p.m., Mar. 4 — A new school doesn’t appear to be in the immediate plans for Columbus Grove voters.Voters in the district once again turned down a bond issue, with 1,090 voters turning it down compared to 1,063 voting for the 6.38 mill levy. The levy would’ve produced $8 million to build the new school and introduce a 0.25-percent income tax.Voters did signal an interest in permanent improvements, though, as they approved a 0.5 mill permanent improvement levy.
