Common Pleas Court

Dispositions/May 27

Christina Baldwin, 41, 408 S. Main St., Continental, was sentenced to five days jail and 10 days house arrest for three counts theft from a disabled person. She must perform 80 hours' community service, pay $212.68 restitution, and was placed on three years' community control.

Dispositions/May 28

Craig Bishop, 32, 500 Sixth St., Lot 46, Continental, pleaded guilty to felony non-support. He faces up to 18 months in prison, and $5,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted.

Eric Lambert, 21, 45 Vine St., Apt. A3, Leipsic, was sentenced to 180 days jail for attempted felony non support. The jail was suspended provided he complete the Family Responsibility Course within 60 days and pay his child support.

Jody A. Karhoff, 34, 18410 Road 7Q, Columbus Grove, was sentenced to 10 days jail for failure to pay child support. He was found in arrears in child support payments in the amount of $3,274.05 as of April 30, 2009. Seven days jail was suspended on condition he remain current in his payments and seek work.

Paulding County Common Pleas Judge J. David Webb was assigned to hear the case of Forest L. Gordon, 43, 19099 State Route 115, Columbus Grove, who has pleaded not guilty to theft in office.

Dispositions/May 29

Lora A. Siebeneck, 49, 7585 State Route 613, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to grand theft. She faces up to 18 months in prison and $5,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is ordered.

Dispositions/May 19

Brandon R. Wilson, 25, 3005 11th St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of no operator's license. Sentence: 90 days jail, $150 fine, with 90 days jail suspended. Charge of seat belt dismissed.

Mark E. Freeland, 48, 260 Oakview Drive, Ottawa, pleaded no contest to an amended charge of menacing. Sentence: 30 days jail, $150 fine, with 30 days jail suspended and completion of assessment at Pathways Counseling Center.

Tyler A. Hacker, 19, 102 S. First St., Continental, pleaded guilty to OMUAC. Sentence: 30 days jail, $250 fine, six-month license suspension, with 27 days jail suspended, and credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP program.

Dispositions/May 20

 

Robert A. Truesdale, 39, 23 Superior Court, Lima, pleaded no contest to driving under suspension and was found guilty. Sentence: 180 days jail, $500 fine, with 150 days jail and $250  suspended. Sentence to be served concurrent to Allen County child support case. Charge of failure to control dismissed.

Diana M. Ketcham, 35, 20865 Road 24T, Delphos, pleaded no contest to passing bad checks. Sentence: Three days jail, $200 fine, with three days jail and $175 suspended, with restitution to Village Market.

Michael D. Taylor, 32, 6210 Road 254, Arcadia, pleaded no contest to an amended charge of passing bad checks and was found guilty. Sentence: 90 days jail, $100 fine, with 90 days jail suspended.

Dispositions/May 21

Casey N. Roller, 21, 809 Oak Parkway, Kalida, pleaded guilty to first-offense OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, $750 fine, one-year license suspension, with 174 days and $375 suspended and six days credit upon completion of DIP program. Charge of failure to control dismissed.

Ross A. Hamilton, 19, 13962 Road 22K, Cloverdale, pleaded guilty to OVUAC. Sentence: 30 days jail, $250 fine, three-month license suspension, with 30 days jail suspended, and education at Pathways Counseling Center. Charges of ATV on roadways and failure to control were dismissed.

Curtis L. Bell, 53, 204 North St., Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to failure to file sales tax returns. Sentence: 60 days jail, $100 fine, with 60 days jail suspended on condition the taxes have been paid. Charge of failure to file a tax report dismissed.
