Putnam County Common Pleas Court

Dispositions/July 1

Jason Levan, 27, 2552 W. Market St., Lima, pleaded guilty to theft. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines.

Dispositions/July 2

Kerri J. Bowen-Cost, Ottawa, and J. Matthew Cost, Bellefontaine, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married on July 29, 2008, in Ottawa, and have no children.

Cassie L. Taber, Pandora, was granted a divorce from Jared M. Taber, Bluffton. They were married on March 11, 2005, in Lima, and have two children.

Michael Borer was appointed trustee to the Putnam County Library Association Board of Trustees.

Dispositions/July 6

Dean E. Stander, 28, 631 W. Sycamore St., Apt. A5, Columbus Grove, was sentenced to three years in prison for trafficking in drugs. He was given credit for 79 days served, and ordered to pay restitution of $100 to the MAN unit. A mandatory fine of $5,000 was waived based on his indigence.

Bruce A. Knotts, 48, 20932 Road 20-T, Fort Jennings, was sentence to 180 days jail for attempted possession of marijuana over 200 grams, with 175 days suspended. He was fined $250, and ordered to pay restitution of $3,662.53 to the MAN unit.

Ernesto Loredo, 53, 5207 Angola Road, Lot 188, Toledo, was sentenced to 23 days jail for felony non support and placed on two years’ community control. He was also sentenced to 23 days in jail for failure to appear. Sentences are to be served concurrently.

Brian K. Niese, Ottawa, was granted a divorce from Amy T. Niese, Ottawa. They were married in Ottawa, on Sept. 7, 1996, and have no children.

Dispositions/July 9

Fifth Third Mortgage Co., Cincinnati, won a foreclosure against Keith A. Koester, Fort Jennings, in the amount of $93,546.33, plus interest and costs.

Fifth Third Mortgage Co., Cincinnati, won a foreclosure against David Torres, Ottawa, and Sherolyn Morman, Ottawa, in the amount of $100,837.38, plus interest and costs.

Kevin W. Moore Sr., 36, 309 W. Oak St., Continental, was granted judicial release and ordered to complete the WORTH Center Program. He must complete 200 hours’ community service and was placed on three years’ community control. He was convicted on assault of a peace officer.

Robert L. Courtney, 41, 1614 S. Blanchard St., Findlay, was ordered to complete the WORTH Center program and a Family Responsibility Course for felony non support.

Amanda Y. Barnt, Columbus Grove, and Eric W. Barnt, Columbus Grove, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married on Oct.30, 2004, in Columbus Gove, and have one child.

Wells Fargo Bank, Irvine, Calif., won a foreclosure against Melinda Botkin, Fort Jennings, in the amount of $60,209.54, plus interest and cost.

Stanley D. Smith, 49, 12426 Road 16, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to first-offense OVI. Sentence: Six points, 30 days jail, $750 fine, one-year license suspension, with 30 days jail and $375 suspended.

Shane C. Lawhorn, 20, 107B Truax Road, Cloverdale, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of no operator’s license. Sentence: 180 days jail, $250 fine, with 180 days jail and $150 suspended. Charge of ATV on roadway dismissed.

Federico Rocha Jr., 38, 105 E. Main St., Belmore, pleaded no contest to persistent disorderly conduct. Sentence: 30 days jail, $250 fine, with 25 days jail suspended
