Putnam County Common Pleas Court

The following indictments were released following a recent session of the Putnam County Grand Jury.

David L. Triggs, 29, 604½ Third St., Ottawa, three counts rape, kidnapping with specification.

Jonathon A. Heuerman, 22, 513 Ohio St., Leipsic, 24 counts unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.

Gary Snodgrass, 31, 219½ S. Scott St., Lima, felony non-support.

Katherine Kuntz, 35, 204½ 54th St., East Moline, Ill., felony non support.

Justin M. Mangas, 21, 149½ Agner St., Ottawa, trafficking in marijuana.

Robert J. Nienberg, 50, 616 S. Clay St., Delphos, driving under the influence with specification.

Rashard D. Bouyer, 20, 625 Ontario St., Lima, burglary, theft of a firearm.

Dispositions/Sept. 23

Kathy Beutler, 47,18288 Road 9Q, Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to aggravated theft, a third-degree felony. The plea was accepted and a pre-sentence investigation was ordered. She faces up to five years in prison and $10,000 in fines. Sentencing has been scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Dec. 1. Beutler was given an OR bond and ordered to have no contact with the Ohio Farmers Union.

Dispositions/Sept. 24

Sonya M. Foster, 30, 18 Spencer Circle, Cridersville, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for violating the terms of supervision. The violations included moving from her residence on 518 Nye St., Lima, without permission, failing to follow the instructions of her supervising officer and failing to submit a drug test as ordered by her supervising officer on Aug. 10, 2009. On Sept. 11, she possessed heroin in Dayton and allegedly possessed drug paraphernalia and failed to pay court costs. She was given credit for 321 days served and ordered to pay $300 in restitution. She had been convicted of trafficking in drugs.

Brian A. Plescher, Ottawa, and Kristy E. Plescher, Menlo, Ga., were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married in Ottawa, on Nov. 6, 1999, and have one child.

Richard A. Roby, 56, 1651 Brentlinger Road, Harrod, was sentenced to more than 10 years in prison after being found guilty by of jury of burglary, receiving stolen property (motor vehicle) and possession of criminal tools. He was sentenced to eight years in prison for burglary, 18 months for receiving stolen property and 12 months for possessing criminal tools. The sentences are to be served consecutively to each other with credit for 171 days served.

Brandy A. Steele, 24, 2109 Virginia Ave., Lima, pleaded not guilty to two counts trafficking in drugs. She was placed on an OR bond, and a pre-trial was scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Oct. 27.

Christian T. Kryling, 38, 1102 Russell, Lima, pleaded not guilty to trafficking in drugs. An OR bond was ordered and a pre-trial was scheduled for 2 p.m. Oct. 27.

A jury trial was scheduled for 9 a.m. Dec. 14, for Ryan J. Wells, 19, 706 S. Walnut St., Van Wert, and Cody R. Rau, 18, 5106 State Route 634, Continental, indicted on vandalism, grand theft and breaking and entering. A trial for David Maxwell III, 18, 711 Williams St., Van Wert, was set for 9 a.m. Nov. 9. The three were indicted in connection to the vandalism of Continental High School on July 15 that caused nearly $100,000 in damage.

Dispositions/Sept. 25

Christopher D. Ovelgonne, Ottawa, was granted a divorce from Anastasia C. Ovelgonne, Toledo. They were married in Ottawa, on Oct. 7, 2005, and have no children.

The Ottoville Bank Co., was granted a foreclosure against Kyle J. Altenburger, Ottoville, in the amount of $18,964.72, plus interest and costs.

 Fifth Third Mortgage Co., Cincinnati, was granted a foreclosure against David A. Piper, Hot Springs Village, Ariz., and Margaret Piper, Ottawa, in the amount of $87,696.17, plus interest and costs.

Zebulin Dulle was appointed deputy sheriff of Putnam County.

Dispositions/Sept. 23

Phillip P. Hardy, 34, 225 N. Eastom, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to passing bad checks. Sentence: Two days jail, $100 fine, with two days jail and $75 suspended. Other count dismissed.

Judgments/Sept. 23

Midland Funding, LLC, San Diego, default judgment v. Thomas E. Stoddard, Columbus Grove, $1,642.68, plus interest and costs.

Midland Funding, LLC, San Diego, default judgment v. Sue A. Butz, Belmore, $1,815.42, plus interest and costs.

Dispositions/Sept. 24

Ismael Hernandez, 18, 316 E. Pendleton St., Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to drug paraphernalia. Sentence: 30 days jail, $250 fine, with 20 days jail and $150 suspended.

Paul J. Aguirre, 55, 313 E. Cross St., Columbus Grove, pleaded no contest to driving without a valid license and was found guilty. Sentence: 90 days jail, $500 fine, with 90 days jail and $250 suspended.

Thomas A. Ladd, Jr., 21, 631 W. Sycamore St., Apt. B-13, Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to operator’s license. Sentence: 60 days jail, $500 fine, with 60 days jail and $300 suspended.

Dispositions/Sept. 28

Jesus Carrillo, 40, 231 South St., Leipsic, pleaded no contest to first-offense OVI, and was found guilty. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, $750 fine, one-year license suspension, with 177 days jail and $250 suspended, and credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP program.

Dispositions/Sept. 29

Jamie M. Wise, 36, 1570 N. Perry St., #35, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of unlawful restraint. Sentence: 60 days jail, $100 fine, with 54 days jail suspended, and completion of assessment at Pathways Counseling Center.

Judgments/Sept. 29

Capital One Bank, Glen Allen, Va., default judgment v. Karen A. Schroeder, Ottawa, $6,078.78, plus interest of $3,430.19, plus interest and costs.

Vaughnsville Communications, small claims v. David Vorhess, Columbus Grove, $260.52, plus interest and costs.

Vaughnsville Communications, small claims v. Janet Hesseling, Lima, $121.61, plus interest and costs.

Vaughnsville Communications, small claims v. James Fuerst. Vaughnsville, $76.85, plus interest and costs.

Dispositions/Sept. 30

Robert S. Dickey, 44, 3012 State Route 224, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to furnishing to underage person. Sentence: 180 days jail, $500 fine, with 177 days jail suspended, and 30 hours’ community service. He also was found guilty of obstructing search of premises. Sentence: 180 days jail $100 fine, with 180 days jail suspended. Four counts of furnishing to underage person were dismissed.

Dereck R. Butcher, 27, 3164 Begg Road, Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of persistent disorderly conduct. Sentence: 30 days jail, $200 fine, with 30 days jail suspended., and no contact with victim.

 Diego Salinas, 26, 8144 Road B, Leipsic, pleaded no contest to driving without a valid license and was found guilty. Sentence: 90 days jail, $500 fine, with 90 days jail and $300 suspended. He was also fined $40 for failure to obey a traffic control device.
