United Way kick off Tuesday in Kalida
Comments 0 | Recommend 0KALIDA - On September 15, five local companies will be recognized for their efforts in setting the pace for the 2009 United Way of Putnam County fund drive. The First National Bank of Pandora, Fortman Insurance Services, Putnam County American Red Cross, Iams-Leipsic, and Pro-Tec Coating Company have been challenged by the United Way Campaign Chairman, Sue Schroeder, to achieve a 10% increase over their prior year’s in-house campaigns and to help create awareness and enthusiasm for the 2009 United Way community campaign which kicks off on Tuesday, September 15. The progress and early results of these five campaigns will be announced Tuesday at the United Way Kick-off Luncheon at the Kalida K of C hall at noon.
Tickets for the 2009 United Way Kick-off Dinner are $10 and can be purchased at the United Way office at 118 N. Hickory Street, Ottawa, or by calling the United Way at 419-523-4505. The public is welcomed.
