Relay for Life in county celebrating 25 years of hope
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The Putnam County Relay for Life is celebrating 25 Years of HOPE at Our relay this year. It has been 25 years since the first relay started in Tacoma, Washington. Because of the American Cancer Society Relay For Life efforts, more people are surviving cancer today!
There will be a Putnam County Relay For Life team meeting on Tuesday, February 17th at New Creation Lutheran Church on 224 east of Ottawa. The team meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. If you wish to form a team or would like more information and can not attend the meeting, please contact Cheryl Hovest at 419-523-5859.
Also the annual American Cancer Society's Daffodil Days is taking place. You can purchase daffodils through February 16, 2009 with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society. If you have not been contacted by someone to purchase daffodil's and you wish to purchase some, please contact Beth Lammon at 419-943-3823.
