Shawnee, Bath win in WBL girls basketball

 

Britt Lauck scored 27 points and Shantay Glenn had 19 points for Shawnee (13-3, 6-1 Western Buckeye League) when it beat Celina 70-61 in girls basketball on Thursday night.

Katie Stahl scored 16 points and Emily Bihn added 14 points for Celina (12-4, 5-2 WBL).

 

Bath 66, Kenton 39

Emily Ruhe (15 points), Kaitlin Singhaus (12 points) and Maddie Clark (10 points) led state-ranked Bath over Kenton. Jackie Stalder’s 20 points led Kenton.

Ottawa-Glandorf 51, Elida 44

Elissa Ellerbrock scored 11 points for the Titans in their win. For Elida, Torie McAdams had 16 points and Ashley Lowry scored 10.

Wapakoneta 61, St. Marys 27

Courtney Knippen’s 16 points led the Redskins and Annie Henderson scored 15 points.

Delphos St. John’s 38
New Bremen 30

Courtney Grothouse scored 14 points and Katie Vorst had nine points for the Blue Jays (12-5, 3-4 MAC) in their win. New Bremen dropped to 5-10 overall and 0-7 in the MAC.

New Knoxville 45, Coldwater 34

Paige Lehman scored 10 points to lead a balanced New Knoxville attack. For Coldwater, Megan Muhlenkamp scored 11 points.

Fort Recovery 59, St. Henry 50

Ericka Lennartz and Kelly Nietfeld scored 14 points each for Fort Recovery. Ashley Heitkamp (15 points) and Ally Mikesell (10 points) led St. Henry.

Minster 62, Versailles 44

Megan Wenning scored 18 points for Minster (12-3).

Arcadia 51, Pandora-Gilboa 44

Miranda Palmer scored 17 points and Molly Glick had 15 points for Arcadia (15-2, 7-1 BVC). Keri Conine’s 11 points led Pandora-Gilboa (9-7, 5-3 BVC).

Leipsic 53, Hardin Northern 38

Emily Gerten led Leipsic with 16 points and Molly Hipsher scored 15 for Hardin Northern.

LCC 45, Paulding 30

Stacia Allen’s 24 points led Lima Central Catholic (10-7, 5-2 NWC). Jessica Farr scored 12 points for Paulding (3-13, 1-6 NWC).

Ada 52, Lincolnview 28

Taylor Willeke (15 points), Kenzie Fell (14 points) and Tori Wyss (10 points) led Ada to a Northwest Conference win over Linconlview.

Allen East 41, Crestview 30

Kaycee Rowe scored 13 points and Jadin Salyers had 12 points for Allen East when it beat Crestview.

Columbus Grove 48
Bluffton 41

Anna Ricker (15 points) and Sydney McCluer (11 points) led the scoring for Columbus Grove. Sierra Amstutz had 15 points for Bluffton.

Delphos Jefferson 47
Spencerville 44

The Wildcats came from behind in the fourth quarter for their 11th win of the season.

Courtney Lewis scored 16 points and Kennedy Boggs had 13 points for Jefferson. For Spencerville, Abby Freewalt scored 12 points.

Riverside 55, Perry 45

Teysha Upshaw had 14 points and Abbie Patton 11 for the Commodores.

Waynesfield-Goshen 66
Fairbanks 50

Ivy Horn scored 19 points and Kaylee Patton had 18 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists for Waynesfield-Goshen.
