Area players named All-Ohio in soccer
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Area soccer players are well represented on the 2009 Ohio High School Soccer Coaches Association All-Ohio teams.
In Division III, Ryan Klear of Miller City earned first team honors for his play as a midfielder, while goalie Mike Bockrath of Kalida and goalie Nick Leatherman of Ottawa-Glandorf earned second team honors. Meanwhile, O-G head coach Mike Weirauch earned the Ron Pinsenschaum Award.
Alicia Drewes of Archbold, a midfielder, earned first team All-Ohio honors in Division II, while defenseman Miranda Kitchen of Bryan, midfielder Emily Maag of Ottawa-Glandorf and forward Janelle Shaw of Wauseon earned second team honors.
