CELINA - Derek Gagle and Jake Green each turned in an impressive effort to help Celina stop visiting Elida 67-63 in a Western Buckeye League boys basketball game Friday.
Celina improves to 10-5 overall, 6-0 in the WBL while Elida tumbles to 8-8, 2-4.
Gagle scored a game-high 23 for Celina while Green finished with 20; Darin Waterman added 10 points.
Bo Mathias scored 19 for Elida while Reggie McAdams notched 12 points.
Shawnee 91, Wapakoneta 60
LIMA - Shawnee had three players scored 20 points in the WBL victory over visiting Wapakoneta.
Marcus Lowe scored 24 for the Indians (10-4, 4-1), Garrick Warthem had 21 and Cody Smith finished with 20. Jackson Hayzlett and Jacob Lambert each had 16 for the Redskins (0-15, 0-5) and Mike Bogan scored 11.
Ottawa-Glandorf 64, Bath 53
OTTAWA - The Titans forced 22 turnovers in the WBL victory over the visiting Wildcats.
Jacob Moening scored 15 for O-G (13-2, 5-1) and Brent Kuhlman had 12. Brad Davis led all scorers with 18 for Bath (3-11, 1-4) and Dre White added 17.
Van Wert 40, St. Marys 37
ST. MARYS - Van Wert grabbed a 17-6 first quarter lead and held off host St. Marys in the WBL contest.
Jacob Bagley scored 18 for the Cougars (6-8, 4-2) and Jake Olson scored 6. Jake Taylor's 16 led St. Marys (1-13, 1-4) and Adam Leininger scored 11.
Delphos Jefferson 50, Bluffton 28
BLUFFTON - Jordan Jettinghoff's 16 points paced Jefferson, which cruised to the NWC win at Bluffton.
Craig Carder scored 10 for the Wildcats (10-5, 4-2) and Matt Gerdeman had 8. Tyler Neal scored 12 to pace Bluffton (7-7, 3-2).
Ada 64, Paulding 45
ADA - Aaron Cross struck for 17 points and Ada thumped visiting Paulding in NWC action.
Mitchell Faine scored 16 for Ada (10-3, 4-1) and Konnor Baker had 14. Bryant Troyer's 14 paced Paulding (4-11, 1-5).
Columbus Grove 53, Crestview 31
COLUMBUS GROVE - Columbus Grove began the game with a 12-6 lead after one and finished the game outscoring visiting Crestview 17-6 in the fourth en route to the NWC victory.
Drew Barto had 11 points and 3 assists for Grove (8-5, 4-1), Colby Meuleman added 11 points and Adam Bair had 8 points and 8 rebounds. Tony Springer and Steve Rickard each scored 11 for Crestview (2-11, 1-4).
Lincolnview 61, Spencerville 59
SPENCERVILLE - Matt Evans netted 19 points and Lincolnview held on for an NWC victory at Spencerville. Lincolnview is 5-9, 2-2 while Spencerville falls to 5-10, 3-3.
Drew Ring had 19 for the Bearcats, Tyler Keysor scored 14 and Zach Bowers had 9.
Delphos St. John's 48, New Bremen 47
DELPHOS - Cameron Hermiller dumped in 19 points as the Blue Jays knocked off visiting New Bremen in a MAC contest.
Nate Webb added 9 for St. John's (11-3, 4-2). Justin Eilerman scored 13 for New Bremen (10-6, 3-3).
Temple Christian 68, Ridgemont 32
LIMA - Temple Christian led 32-10 at half and never let up in the NWCC home win.
Shane Holloway's 12 led Temple Christian (7-8, 5-2) while Josh Kroehler had 8 points and 7 rebounds. Brandon High had 9 points and Tyler Sutton added 7 points and 5 assists.
New Knoxville 59, Coldwater 43
COLDWATER - Brad Piehl's 14 was a game-high as New Knoxville rolled to the MAC victory at Coldwater. Marcus Reineke and Caleb Allen each netted 12 for the Rangers (15-0, 6-0).
St. Henry 61, Fort Recovery 48
ST. HENRY - Spencer Niekamp's 20 led St. Henry to the MAC victory. Vic Fortkamp scored 17 for St. Henry (14-1, 5-1) while Greg Kahlig scored 23 for Fort Recovery (10-5, 2-4). Kahlig is 27 points away from 1,000 career points.
Parkway 55, Marion Local 54
MARIA STEIN - Zach Bates led all scorers with 21 points to help Parkway (11-5, 2-4) edge host Marion Local (4-10, 1-5) in the MAC game. Jason Wolters scored 15 for Marion Local and Nathan Thobe added 11.
