State football playoff pairings (week one)
Comments 0 | Recommend 0VAN WERT – A number of area teams qualified for the state football playoffs. The WBL was represented by Kenton and Ottawa-Glandorf. The MAC was well represented as five teams qualified: Delphos St. John’s, Coldwater, St. Henry, Marion Local and Anna. Marion Local qualified with a 5-5 record, but Shawnee of the WBL missed the play-offs with a 7-3 mark (Marion Local defeated Shawnee in week one of the regular season 21-17). From the NWC, Ada, LCC and Columbus Grove qualified; and from the GMC: Leipsic, Hicksville, Tinora, and Fairview all made the big dance. Also, from the NOAL, Bryan and Napoleon qualified.
